# For Donors

Thank you for choosing to support the causes you care about through the Verifund platform. This guide will walk you through the process of making donations, tracking your contributions, and benefiting from the IDRX ecosystem.

### Getting Started as a Donor

#### Prerequisites

* **Verifund Account**: Create a Verifund account to start donating
* **Wallet Setup**: Connect a compatible crypto wallet (MetaMask recommended) or prepare fiat payment details

#### Recommended Preparation

* **SBT Verification**: Consider applying for SBT verification for community benefits
* **Familiarize with IDRX**: Learn about IDRX tokens and how they are used on the platform

### Making Donations

#### Step 1: Discover Campaigns

1. **Browse Campaigns**
   * Use the "Explore Campaigns" feature to discover various causes
   * Filter campaigns by category, popularity, or recent activity
2. **Select a Campaign**
   * Click on a campaign to view detailed information
   * Read about the project's objectives, goals, and team
   * Review campaign updates and media

#### Step 2: Donation Process

1. **Choose Donation Method**
   * **With IDRX**: Use your crypto wallet to donate IDRX tokens
   * **Without IDRX**: Donate using a credit card or bank transfer through fiat gateway
2. **Specify Donation Amount**
   * Enter your desired donation amount in IDRX or equivalent currency
3. **Complete Donation**
   * Confirm the transaction in your wallet or fill out payment details
   * Wait for confirmation and receipt generation

#### Step 3: Confirmation and Receipt

1. **Transaction Confirmation**
   * Check your wallet or email for transaction confirmation
   * Receipt will be generated and sent for your records
2. **Track Donations**

### Refund Process

#### Eligibility for Refunds

* Refunds are possible for campaigns that did not reach funding goals
* Subject to platform's refund policy and terms

#### Refund Steps

   * Visit "My Donations" page
   * Select the campaign eligible for a refund and follow instructions
2. **Receive Refund**
   * Approved requests processed automatically
   * Refunded amount will appear in your wallet or account
