# Developer Resources

Welcome to the developer resources section for the Verifund platform. Here, you will find essential information and tools for building, integrating, and testing within the Verifund ecosystem.

### Quick Start

#### Setting Up Your Development Environment

1. **Clone the Repository**

   ```bash
   git clone https://github.com/Verifund-Team/verifund-client.git
   cd verifund-client
   ```
2. **Install Dependencies**

   ```bash
   npm install
   ```
3. **Set Environment Variables** Configure `.env` file using the provided example:

   ```env
   REACT_APP_API_URL=https://api.yourplatform.com
   REACT_APP_RPC_URL=https://rpc.yourplatform.com
   ```
4. **Run the Development Server**

   ```bash
   npm start
   ```

#### Testing

* **Run Unit Tests**

  ```bash
  npm test
  ```
* **Run End-to-End Tests**

  ```bash
  npm run e2e
  ```

### Code Examples

#### Creating a Campaign

```javascript
// Import necessary libraries
const { ethers } = require('ethers');
// Connect to Ethereum provider
const provider = new ethers.providers.Web3Provider(window.ethereum);
// Create a campaign
async function createCampaign(name, targetAmount, duration) {
  const campaignFactory = new ethers.Contract(
    campaignFactoryAddress,
    CampaignFactoryABI,
    provider.getSigner()
  );
  const tx = await campaignFactory.createCampaign(name, targetAmount, duration);
  await tx.wait();
  console.log('Campaign Created:', tx);
}
```

#### Donating to a Campaign

```javascript
async function donate(campaignAddress, amount) {
  const campaign = new ethers.Contract(
    campaignAddress,
    CampaignABI,
    provider.getSigner()
  );
  const tx = await campaign.donate({ value: ethers.utils.parseUnits(amount, 'ether') });
  await tx.wait();
  console.log('Donation Successful:', tx);
}
```

### API Reference

The API Reference provides detailed documentation for interacting with Verifund's backend services.

  * Retrieve all campaigns

#### Donations API

* **POST /api/donate**
  * Donate to a campaign

### Testing Guide

#### Writing Tests

* Use [Jest](https://jestjs.io/) for unit testing
* Structure tests by feature under `tests/unit`

#### Running Tests

* Ensure all necessary services are running
* Use npm scripts to execute testing commands

**Linting and Formatting**

* Use [ESLint](https://eslint.org/) for maintaining code quality
* Ensure consistent formatting with [Prettier](https://prettier.io/)

**Continuous Integration**

* Configure CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Travis CI, etc.
